Greg Hamerton (greghamerton) What kind of fantasy would you like to read?

If you enjoy Robert Jordan, Robin Hobb and JRR Tolkien but want something fast and furious with a mystic twist, then the Tale of the Lifesong series could be for you.

"There is a song that drifts on the breeze through all the world. Its rhythyms are echoed in our breath, the music is caught in our laughter, hidden in our language, woven through our life. Singers reach for the melody, but it is too delicate to hold and too elusive to remember. As the Ages pass, so the Lifesong retreats under the sounds of our time, its potent beauty and danger ever more a mystery."

It's an epic tale of magic and music, weighing in at 252,000 words (650 pages in print) because that's the kind of fantasy I grew up on - big worlds you can get lost in. It's received many 5 star reviews, like "Highly, highly recommended” (Fantasy Book Critic) and “Sheer magic” (SFbook) as well as good reviews on Amazon (4.9 stars avg), and Goodreads (4.2 stars avg).

It is part of a series and is followed by Second Sight. There's more information on greghamerton.com

The Riddler's Gift has just been put on promotion at $0.99. I'd love you to read it; I hope to sweep you away.
