Hi guys (especially the bloggers)

We need to start building our Klout scores as I hear that publishers are starting to look at them.

If we can help each other with +K's etc. that would be sweet :)

What is Klout and where can I find my profile?

What is the purpose of Klout?

From I can gauge so far, it's a site that measures your influence and activity on social media sites. It can identify people who you influence and who influence you.

Looks useful since I'm a blogger (I wouldn't really care otherwise) although I'll have to spend some time figuring the whole thing out.

It gives you a score that is supposed to show how much influence you have.

I hope they add goodreads, cause my score is scary :(

I was surprised at my score, since I've never even heard of Klout before you mentioned it to me on Twitter the other day, although of course your score has nothing to do whether or not you use Klout. My score's been dropping since I haven't been very active this past month, but I have hope since it wasn't too bad in the first place.

Mine went up 5 yesterday and 3 today :)
But that's only cause I shaped up and became active again :P

I think tweeting actively (tweeting, RTing, replying to tweets) helps alot, based on the lists of people who I influence and who influence me. But then again, I don't use the other social media tools that much, except Wordpress.

Yea for me its Facebook, Blogger and Tweeting.
I'm getting active in Tumblr again.

They need to add goodreads!

Yeah, Goodreads would give us all a huge boost, I think. I'm assuming your score is greatly influenced by the comments/replies you make and how often people comment on or reply to what you say.

Yeah, the topics are plain weird. I had plastic, tigers and other weirdness.

This sucks! I can't manage to fully make use of Klout as it doesn't seem to load in Google Chrome and in normal Explorer I can't all my networks, i.e. LI, Blogger, Facebook and so forth. Each page I open gives me an error based on the fact that the site requires you to log in?? Any suggestions or similar problems? Seeing as all of you are clearly already playing on Klout, probably no other problems.

Already tried that. In fact most of the time I try and go in to Klout it gives me a Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage error??

This Klout thing is a bit of a challenge for me. I am constantly checking it! Haha! Not used to having such a small influence or reach! Hehe! But alas, that's my cyberspace status!

I've been stuck at the same score since I started (with a minor change when they revamped the system). It goes up very slightly when I do a blog post.

Diablo? I spoke about that once with Crusader and Shaina Jade, but only to say that I've never played it. Sigh... Must go and remove it; please don't +K.

Wow. I signed up when this topic first started and only bothered going back to check today. I have a Klout score of 44. No topics. Done nothing except sign in with Facebook!
