Hey everyone, Sorry I haven't been posting or commenting. Work at the high school and then taking my own classes at college has really been eating up my time here. I am still trying to read the books of the month, between my work, schoolwork and life in general. I can't wait to graduate and have my teaching license. I am doing a triple licensure (what am I thinking???). Most people do dual licensure in secondary education and special Ed or elementary Ed and special Ed-I am doing all three with endorsements in psychology and English. At least when I teach English, i can feed my passion for books while sharing my passion with my students. Anyway, I hope to be commenting more here! Love you all! Marla
It's nice hearing from you, Marla. I hope things will slow down a bit for you soon. School alone drains me. I can't imagine doing it while having a job (though I will have to at some point). Kudos to you.
I know how you feel, Marla. I got my teaching degree this spring. It was a long road and now I can't find any jobs here in Texas. So, I am going back to school almost full time and working full time. It's starting to get really old!
Good luck to you! It is well worth it and so much fun.
