Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere already, I searched around but couldn't find what I was looking for.

I was wondering if there are any specific policies on listing the translator of a book. I've noticed that a number of Yoshimoto Banana's works don't have a translator listed, and am eager to add the translator, but am not sure how.

The translator can be added in the secondary author position with the role of Translator.

Found out recently that two of the books I've translated were listed on Goodreads, since then I became a member to try to include other published books I've translated in the list, but I haven't been able to do so. How can I add the translator to the portuguese editions?

You need to be added to the secondary author position, if you provide links to the books some one will add you

As far as linking books, you can copy the url into your post here for both the older book and your translation, and a librarian can combine them and/or add you as translator as needed.

I've tried to create a book I translated and was just published this Monday the 8th April. Then I saw it's already created. Can you add me as Translator? The book is:

What can I do to eliminate the book I created, it's basically a double of this one with the added info of the translator.

Ignore the last question please, I've asked librarians to eliminate the duplicate on the appropriate thread.

Next time I'll check first and ask to be added as translator before trying to do anything myself.
