Kath Middleton | 23860 comments You mean he had a PLAN?

Simon (Highwayman) (highwayman) | 4276 comments It was going to be a high-brow affair where we discussed the underlying social message behind the great works - like Winnie the Pooh

message 72: by Kath (new)

Kath Middleton | 23860 comments Out of my depth there Simon.

Gingerlily - The Full Wild | 34228 comments Thats way to intellectual for me - it has to have custard in it...

The Pooh Perplex - these posts have reminded me of this book that used to be in the library where I worked, I loved it a read it a couple of times. It's full of purposely pretentious essays critiquing Winne the Pooh - very chuckle worthy.

:0)

Jud (judibud) | 16799 comments I remember reading Horrible Historys in my youth and they had a chapter on medival games and they said that pooh sticks was a game where you found a stick and poked it down the back of someones outdoor commode and then put it in each others faces or something like that, maybe it had something to do with ringing door bells and leaving it behind i cant remember but it was something gross and ridiculous and I believed it for years
