Chicks On Lit discussion

Dr. Susan Love has created a website, http://www.armyofwomen.org , to get 1 million women around the world to sign up for and participate in Cancer research so that we can be the generation that finds the cure. It doesn't matter whether or not you are at risk, ALL women are being asked to sign up.

"Sign up for your sister, mother, daughter, granddaughter, best friend, and the woman you met last week."

I've signed up for Cindy! And the woman I saw In ShopRite yesterday with her peach fuzzy hair wrapped in a bandana, happily singing along with the music in the store as she walked beside her husband who pushed their cart!

And my Nana who developed "Old Age Cancer" in her 70's and 80's and while her breast cancer isn't hereditary, I have a compromised immune system and am therefore at risk for Cancer.

Even if you aren't at risk, take a look and sign up!
