Guy Fawkes Day - The Dark Enquiry by Deanna Raybourne
Book Lover's Day - I just ordered Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Crime by Tamar Myers
Homemade Bread Day - Sprinkle with Murder by Jenn McKinlay
Veteran's Day - Too Many Crooks Spoil the Broth by Tamar Myers

2/5 Finished
Nov 1 - All Saint's Day - The Diva Runs Out of Thyme
Nov 5 - Guy Fawkes Day - Ghouls Gone Wild
Nov 11 - Veteran's Day - Bookplate Special (Taken from Kate's shelf)

I have over 565 mysteries, not counting the Murder, She Wrote or Trixie Belden mysteries shelved seperately, for everyone to choose from. There are more mysteries listed under Condensed Books too, as I got an entire set (at a garage sale) of Detective Book Club condensed books. So you should definetly be able to find something to read from my shelves. (Doesn't have to be a mystery either. Total, I have 5500 books to choose from.)

√ All Saints/Soul's Day: Twice as Dead
√ Guy Fawkes Day: A Nice Class of Corpse
√ Book Lover's Day: Wicked Autumn: A Max Tudor Novel
√ Homemade Bread Day: Since I didn't finish in time for the Halloween book, I'll hopefully manage it this month. Bedeviled Eggs (I baked pumpkin bread.)
√ Veteran's Day: All Mortal Flesh
Completed 11/11/2011

Book Lover's Day: -- Live Free or Die
Homemade Bread Day: -- A Brisket, a Casket
Veteran's Day: -- From Kate's shelf, What Would MacGyver Do?: True Stories of Improvised Genius in Everyday Life

It just so happened to be on hand. ;)
My husband (a MacGyver fan) received the book as a gift from our daughter.
It's also an interesting read. I especially like the part about making a homemade air conditioner with a tabletop electric fan, copper tubing, plastic
tubing, and water from a garden hose - it really works!

The poor man's air conditioner I always tell folks about (if you're truely desperate, lol) is to freeze a bucket of water 2/3 full (left over ice cream type bucket, leave room on top). Sit bucket of ice on a towel in front of a fan... instant cool air. Not the best, but if it's so hot you're that desperate, it feels pretty good.
