Bee (beegeisler) | 3 comments FRL employees: I know 2008 isn't over yet, but it's close!

What is the best book (or two) of the year for you? It doesn't have to have an '08 pub date, just your favorite over the past 10+ months.

My two favorites for '08 are The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and The Book Thief.

Sarah (electricmayhem) Good choices! I loved both of those, though I think I loved the latter more and would add it to my 2008 list. My other favorites from the past year were probably How the Soldier Repairs the Gramophone and Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book. I also can't recommend Diary of a Wimpy Kid enough.

Bee (beegeisler) | 3 comments I'm going to add the first and last one you mentioned to my To-Read list. They look great! I think I'm too wimpy for Neil Gaiman. :)

The first that comes to mind is Sarah's Key. Also Book Thief is right up there.
