I'm from northern Virginia (USA), in the Washington, DC area. I get a lot of reading done by listening to books on CD/Audio in my car while commuting because there is a LOT of traffic in this area. Sigh.

Hamilton, NJ - just NE of Trenton, and SE of Princeton. It's Central Jersey, and very suburban. Tan house, dark brown shutters - and solar panels on the roof.

Would you believe nobody notices the solar panels? I have to tell them about it - and they cover the whole roof.

One of my daughters lives in Medford, New Jersey, and before that - Delran, New Jersey. She and the young man who would one day become her husband were stationed for a number of years together at McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey.

We're practically neighbors. NJ is finite; Pennsylvania is eternal. A huge state. Most of which we had to traverse when we went out to Pittsburgh to visit our son in college - normally he took the train home.

I live in Overland Park, KS which is a suburb of Kansas City, KS/MO. Kansas City is in both states. It's weird. I literally live about a mile from State Line Rd. The 2 lanes on the East (Northbound) side of the road are in MO & the 2 lanes on the West (Southbound) side are in KS.

Anyywayyy, that's where I live. Im *from* West Palm Beach, FL; born & raised! I miss my ocean!

I'm an Ulsterman but am living on the Isle of Lewis, part of the Hebrides (The Scottish Islands off the west coast of Scotland, funny enough!). We get wind, rain, more wind and an annual day of sunshine!

Chattanooga, Tennessee here! Scenic City, born and raised. I've never moved away, and don't plan to. We've got some of the prettiest views of (and in) the Smokies I've ever seen, and walking/biking is definitely the way to get around downtown.

Home to Rock City, The Chattanooga Choo Choo, Incline, Ruby Falls, Riverwalk, Tennessee Aquarium, our own zoo, and we host Riverbend every summer, right on top of the Tennessee River! (I promise I don't get paid to advertise, I just love my hometown, haha.)

I'm from St. Cloud, Minnesota, and I miss it so much!...except during the winter. lol. I moved to Baltimore where I met my wonderful husband, and now we live in Orlando, FL. Best. Place. Ever. I love the heat. The only time I get really sad is around Christmas, because I need snow for Christmas and I don't get that around here. But yeah, I'll take the heat over cold any day. Oh, and I love sandals. Me and Florida get along real well!

Hello everybody, my name is Ashley and I am born and raised in the beautiful bay area near San Francisco, California.

I grew up in Connecticut. I miss the ocean everyday! Moved to middle of nowhere Illinois when I was in high school. Got the heck out of there as soon as possible but ended up meeting my husband while I went back to visit my parents. Stuck there for seven more years until I convinced my wonderful hubby to move to Colorado! We've been in CO for three years and still love it!

I'm English born and bred, lived in NZ and central Africa, now live in England again.
