Thanks, Dlmrose! I always get mixed up thinking about words that can be used at multiple parts of speech. Thank you. :)

Cassie | 133 comments I wanted to use Let's Be Jolly for D because on the cover Let's Be Jolly (2-in-1) by Janet Dailey there is an exclamation point at the end of the title. But it doesn't show up in the linked GoodReads title. Is it still okay to use it? On my copy, the exclamation point is on the cover and the spine.

MJ | 130 comments I'd like to use The Firstborn Advantage: Making Your Birth Order Work for You for B & C. Would "First" work as a superlative? I've found evidence pointing towards yes, but I wanted to clarify here.

Only when used with "most" The superlative form of excellent is "most excellent"

Jane | 62 comments I was hoping to use Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn’t Have) by Sarah Mlynowski for the one book option (coordinating conjunction=and, pronoun=we) but when I started to post the completed task I noticed the book link (Ten Things We Did) only shows the first part of the title. Is that going to be okay? Thanks!

message 64: by Dee (new)

Dee (austhokie) | 8954 comments weird, the book link only shows ten things we did...but if you hover, or click on the link, it shows the entire thing

It works, please note the link/title discrepancy when you post.
I've noticed that there's sometimes a delay in the link title if the book record has been recently edited. It may be resolved by the time you post.

Deedee | 2344 comments Grammar was not my strong suit in school -- I have a question about pronouns -- The Stress of Her Regard - does "her" count as a pronoun? I want the answer to be "yes" but I suspect that the answer is "no" ("her" modifying "regard").

It works for this task- "her" is on the pronoun list and it is in the title
