ஐAndreaஐ (rosesrrblue) | 707 comments You know, when you couldn't put it down and when you were done all you could think was 'WOW'. I feel like I need one of those.

For me it was

The Shadow Reader (McKenzie Lewis #1) by Sandy Williams

What's yours?

Mai Lewis Buwee (millyb) | 30 comments Passion Unleashed by Larissa Ione

message 3: by Bridget (new)

Bridget Bowers (bridgetbowers) | 36 comments For me the last book that had me go "WOW" was Shadowfever the final book in Karen Marie Moning's series. The whole series from beginning to end was great, but book five...I just couldn't stop turning the pages to find out what happened next.

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments Everneath by Brodi Ashton (it was an ARC) and Masquerade by Cambria Hebert (also an ARC). Both of them were amazing and I gobbled them up. I just couldn't get enough and I was so sad when they ended.

I love getting immersed in stories like that.

I have actually read quite a few great books this year that were like that for me in all different genres.

Terry (Ter05 TwiMoms/ MundieMoms) (ter05) | 608 comments Easy call - my best read of 2011! The book was wonderful, the audiobook beautiful and just bought two copies of the book for my daughters in law for Christmas.

A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness

Mlpmom (Book Reviewer) (mlpmombookreviewer) | 839 comments I agree Terry, that book was amazing!
I can't wait for the next to come out!

KK (kk567) | 20 comments I'm with Bridget, Shadowfever was my last outstanding book.

Anna's Herding Cats (herdingcats-burningsoup) What A Dragon Should Know (Dragon Kin, #3) by G.A. Aiken by GA Aiken. Absolutely loved it. I couldn't put it down and felt like pouting when I had to be a grown up for a bit and do some actual work around the house. Were some hysterical parts and then some that had me a blubbering mess crying so hard.

For non PNR Surrender (MacKinnon’s Rangers, #1) by Pamela Clare and Untamed (MacKinnon's Rangers, #2) by Pamela Clare by Pamela Clare. She does so much research and creates such a rich world so you really feel like you are there. Characters you love and ones you love to hate. I had these on my self for over a year and couldn't get myself to read then and when I finally did wanted to kick myself for not reading them sooner I loved them so much.

message 9: by Erin (new)

Erin (erin-b) I agree with Terry and Mlpmom, A Discovery of Witches (All Souls Trilogy, #1) by Deborah Harkness was great. And so was Dragon Bound (Elder Races, #1) by Thea Harrison . Loved them both.

Julie (mrssoup85) | 3 comments Friday Night Bites (Chicagoland Vampires, #2) by Chloe Neill

Just started this series the other day and I can’t put it down. There are not many books that make me want to rush home from work every day just so I can read them, but this is one of them that does that. I just hope it keeps getting better because it has so many directions it can go. :)
