If you could be any character from a book- who would it be and why?

If I could be any character in any book I think it would be Sherlock Holmes as corny as that sounds but I would loved to live in England during those days and I love to try to solve mysteries and have such a diverse life as he had. I visited England twice and would like to go back there before my end comes. My mother was a British war bride and carried dual citizenship

What's a British war bride? It's sounds cool and I've always wanted to go to England I love their accents!

My mother was British and she married my father (American) while he was serving during WWII and then she came here when he was discharged

Oh okay that's what I was thinking just wanted to make sure. :) and I like Sherlock Holmes I haven't read any of the books yet but I watch the movies because they always come out on the day of my birthday and they are really good and Robert downy Jr. Plays a great Sherlock!

There is another one coming out Sherlock Holmes and the Shadow Games. My daughters birthday is Dec 18th. You should try and read some of the books they are quite fast moving. Gutenberg.com has the originals made into ebooks for free downloads

Really my birthday is December 16th. And thanks I will try and read the series I need more mystery books to add to my list I will definitely check it out thanks! :)

i think I'd be either be Rose Hathaway from the Vampire Academy or Calwyn from the Chanters of Tremaris trilogy, they are both just awesome and so inspirational!

I would say Rose Hathaway too! She is so kick ass! I would also want to be a Natural like Lena Duchannes from 'Beautiful Creatures' she can basically do anything :)

I haven't read many things with a real kickass female protagonist, I feel a strange gap in my reading itinerary. I would love to be a female victorian inventor/ detective and strangely adept with light weaponry.

I could never be a vampire, I don't like salt very much and blood tastes far too salty for my liking.

Shame, I'm curious now. If it helps, I have no preconceived ideas. I am a fresh slate on which you can serve your weird.

Ok, what I wanted to say was that if blood tastes too salty then its probably because the blood you have tasted comes from them eating too many salty things and is actually a sign of high blood pressure and bad cholesterol.

my blood tastes bit coppery and that is because I eat a lot of protein and iron filled foods. I have been told by a doctor that my cholersterol good and bad, was better than hers, and I eat salt on damn near everything.

I am a freak in a way that I have tasted the blood of some of the people I have dated, but only after having an std test. I am very adamit about getting one if I am going to do any type of blood letting. I might be a freak/weirdo, but I am a safe and careful one.

Yep you were right, you are weird and or freaky, but at least you can let your other half know if you think they should cut down on the amount of salt that they eat. If you are going to be a vampire it's nice to know that you would be a considerate one.

I have to say that I would no sooner drink anyones blood than I would drink a glass of red wine. Or for that matter lick a copper plate. Strange how I know how copper tastes though...

As weird as it sounds, I'd love to be Alex from A Clockwork Orange. He may be a monster and have done horrible things...but I'd love to live in a society where teenagers rule the streets.

It may be corny, but it would be incredibly useful.

I would like to be a vampire. No specific one except like the Cullens. I wouldn't want to drink human blood. But just imagine being able to read as many books as you could and not having to sleep!

Oh I have and could not finish it because I could not agree with how the author has made the vamps. I am an old fashion vampire lover. I love the vampires that sleep during the day, come out at night, can not walk around in full sun, and suck the blood of the living and enjoy the hell out of it.

Sorry, but vampire don't sparkle.

I would be Alice Cullen. Not for the lack of memories but for her agility and peppiness. She is just amazing and Jasper is awesome to.
