I always liked Hufflepuff house the best. It was never victim to any real prejudice, and it just always seemed like the nicest house to me. ;D

Hello fellow hufflepuffs

Daniel and Byrn walk in. "Which way to the boys dorms?" they ask Tiffla follows behind "and if I could got directions to the girls dorms, that would be great!"

Gemeiac pointed at the door. "That one. It's quite empty take any that you want." she said.

"okeydokey!"

*wanders in and plonks down on the couch, wondering where everyone is. she thinks about the Yule ball and hopes that someone will ask her*

Abigail walked in with her luggage, almost to heavy for her to carry. She peeked over the case she was carrying, clutched to her chest, and saw a few people. She silently sat everything down, and looks around. "Um, I don't mean to interrupt, but may I have some assistance in carrying my things to the girls dorm?" She asked the room full of people, very politely.

Byrn looked at her "sure"

"Thank you!" she said gratefully, making a small jump, throwing her curls wild around her head.

He picked up the heaviest two

She smiled at him and asked which way led them to the girls dorm, and if he was even allowed to be in there.

He shrugged and went the way his sister had gone.

She followed.

After shoving her things under an unclaimed bed, her and Byrn entered the common room again. "Thank you. This pulic school stuff is new for me. I was home schooled before I cam here." she said with a smile.

"Cool" he said with a smile "I don't exactly have parents..."

"I see. I'm so sorry..." she said. "Well, you've got a friend, if your open for one..." she asked.

He smiled at her "Sure"

She giggled. "So, friends! Wanna get outa here? It's so loud." she gestured to the door. "We could govto the library or something, where everyone isn't talking so loud!" she almost shouted.
((Wanna go there, or?? Of there's somewhere else you'd like to go, we can! (: ))

((IGTG)) "Sure"

((That means you have to go? Lol!!))
She nodded and smiled, and walked out the door.
((Tomorrow we can go to the library!))

Abigail strolled in, still in her purple dress. "Oh, Byrn. That was the most amazing night!" she giggled. Her hair was up in a bun and small ringlets framed her face. They bounced with every nod her head made with excitement.

He smiled and nodded in agreement

"can we talk? When we first met, you said you didn't have any parents, and while we were dancing, I realized that I never asked about It, and now I feel horribly wrong about that. But I didn't want to ask while we were having such a wonderful time..." she said in a rush, looking at him unsurely.

"yeah" he said with a shrug

She giggled. "I just wondered... What happened to them?"

He looked down at his shoes. "uuuh... I really don't know... They died when my brother and I turned 4. They loved us..... They actually went to this same school! Dad was in Hufflepuff and Mom was in Ravenclaw. they were both purebloods. Dad's animagus was a tiger and Mom's was a rabbit.... I think that's it"

"They sound like wonderful people." she said sweetly. "I'm here if you'd like to talk about them, anytime. Does your Brother come to this school too?"

He yelled something and Leonardo ran up. They were twins, except Leonardo has more freckles

"Wow." she said, walking up to the both of them. "It's like a mirror!" she said smiling. "What's your name?" she asked the brother.

"Leonardo" he said, putting out his hand to shake

She grabbed it and shook with happiness. "Twins!" she exclaimed. "Okay this is cool. Who did you go to the dance?" she asked Leonardo, making small talk.

He shook his head with a small laugh "nobody"

"Aww...." she looked at Byrn awkwardly. "Sorry" she said. "You could have gone with Byrn and I." she added with a giggle.

((So sorry! Gatt a go. Ttyl.))

"That would have been more awkward..." he said. "Anyways, I having my own fun the night of the dance"

"That's true..." she agreed. "I'm glad you had fun!" she said, her red curls bouncing. "So Byrn... The dance was great! I can't wait until we have another one."

Byrn nodded with a smile "Yep"

She nodded and said goodbye to the boys. "I'll see you guys later."
She grabbed her bag and headed into the girls dorm.

((GTG)) "Bye" Byrn called after her

Katherine came in weeks later and sat down on a comfortable couch, not knowing what to do with herself. She got her sketch book out of her bag, along with her poetry book, and sat them on the table beside her, opening her drawings to the latest; the one she drew at the lake earlier.
A beautiful mermaild was drawn, underwater and deadly looking. It's dark hair flowed on the page, and so did it's maroon tail. She thought she drew the Siren nicely, and liked her interpertation.
She leaned back on the couch, and let her hair down, it's thick black waves falling carelessly beautiful over her shoulders, and took her jacket off.
Today was so long... She thought, watching her drawing. Everyone she knew was going to go to the dance... Even Haden, and Haden didn't dance... She sighed and figured she wouldn't be able to go, unless she wanted to go by herself.
So many thoughts were zooming through her head... How she didn't much like how Amy interfered at the duel... How Gwen blocked each and every one of her spells... How she blew that little bird up...

Soon, her eyes closed and the picture on the paper transmitted to her mind, and she fell asleep dreaming out her beautiful drawing, hoping someone might wake her up before morning.

Katherine woke in the morning and found the time. "Oh no!" She ran into her dorm and changed into new, clean robes before shoving everything in her bag, and leaving the room at a run. She couldn't be late!

Jasper walked in and headed for his dorm to change into his dress robes.

Maria walked in tired from school

"Hey, guys!" Destiny walked into the room and smiled at everyone. "I'm new here. Kind of confused how we do this."

Byrn smiled "'bout what?"

"I guess I just don't know what we do here at Hogwarts."

Byrn shrugged "you learn, you make friends, you play games.... There's a whole lot of stuff we do"
