Beyond Reality discussion

Hi everyone,

Can you believe it's December already? This month often is a quiet one here, but I still hope we'll be able to get some discussion going because we have a couple of great Books of the Month, as always selected by you:

- December Fantasy: Of Blood and Honey by Stina Leicht
- December SF: Spin by Robert Charles Wilson

The SF novel is one of my favorite novels ever, so I'll lead the discussion for that one. (If someone would like to volunteer for leading the Of Blood and Honey discussion, please drop me a line. I've heard a lot of good things about this book.)

We also have the schedule for the first two months of 2012:

- January Fantasy: The Magician King by Lev Grossman
- January SF: House of Suns by Alastair Reynolds

- February Fantasy: Jhereg by Steven Brust
- February SF: Archangel by Sharon Shinn

(... and a quick note about the February fantasy novel: I'm fairly sure that, at least in the US, the book is only available as part of an omnibus edition called The Book of Jhereg, which contains Jhereg and the next two books in the Vlad Taltos series. We'll be discussing only the first book, but I recommend buying that omnibus edition anyway because it's a great deal. Just letting you know to avoid confusion, because the titles are so similar.)

In other news, we're also still working on our Beyond Reality Series Discussion of the Honor Harrington series. The current book is Field of Dishonor, and on December 15th we'll start on book 5 in the series, which is Flag in Exile.
