UPDATE

Since achieving my milestone of having read/reviewed 100 Christian books, 14 of my last 19 reviews [73.68%] have been for these books; and again, some of these reviews are for books with Christian women in mind.

MEN [and a book for Christian to give as a gift for the man their lives] here’s the link for 365-day devotional book I wrote a review for:

Here's hoping you'll enjoy reading my reviews.

Chip Tudor (chiptudor) | 105 comments I worked as a freelance copywriter for over 20 years. My blog articles initially reflected that profession. Over the last 6 - 7 years, I have been more intentional in writing blog articles that reflect my faith in Jesus Christ. I've also self-published 4 non-fictional Christian books and one Christian fiction--a detective novel titled Soul Pursuit. I'd like to get more reviews of the books which can be viewed here on Goodreads and purchased on Amazon.

Can you give me a synopsis of the book?

David Knott | 55 comments As we remember the coming of the Prince of Peace, do you remember what he said?
‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.’ (Matthew 5:9 NIV)
Being a peacemaker does not make you a child of God, but peace-making is one of the things children of God do. If you want to be a peacemaker, I hope you find this article helpful.

David Knott | 55 comments Is trust in God a Matter of Honor?

We never outgrow the need to trust God.

In fact, as Jesus said, 'From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded...'

Here's my latest article looking at what we can learn from Moses on this subject:

message 531: by Mickey (new)

Mickey Mullen (mrmullenvcncom) | 632 comments 552 David one preacher said that a peacemaker is the police. The problem with that is the other half of the verse "they shall be called the children of God" 555 Not far from my house is a sign put up by the Catholic church is "we trust you Jesus." With there false doctrine I think they need more then trust, according to the K J B of 161. The rest of the religions that go by the literal verses, trust is not going to do them any good either. It is true that Jesus either spoke allegorically or in parables, and those saved would only understand them. I know I'm saved I don't need trust. You should buy my nonfiction book 'Mutton's Decadence" by Mickey R Mullen it would open your eyes to the truth, I was saved at a gas station and received the Holy Ghost in a 1959 Ford, and the Tree of Life in my apartment.

message 532: by Robert (new)

Robert Dallmann (robert_dallmann) | 1909 comments Mod
For those who are not aware of Mickey Mullen's doctrines...

Mickey stands in opposition to Jesus Christ.

Jesus tells us that John the Baptist is the Elijah who was to come...

Mickey tells us that Jesus was wrong and that he himself (Mickey Mullen) is the Elijah who was to come.

this should give you a pretty good idea of how seriously (or not) anyone should take Mickey Mullins comments.

Anna Faversham (annafaversham) | 154 comments Injections of Joy

We’ve heard a lot about injections lately and we’re told they’re doing a good job. There’s another injection doing a good job: something unexpectedly cheerful can feel just like an injection of joy. I won a prize! Definitely unexpected and definitely something good.

My blog gives more details. There’s also the usual sage saying, handy hint and stress reducer. And news of three of my books being reduced to as low as £0.77/$0.99 (similar prices for all markets) or a little bit more for the other three.

Hop on over to https://www.goodreads.com/author_blog... and share your idea of an injection of joy. Children? Grandchildren? Holiday? Meeting someone new and super...? Finally being able to meet in church or a restaurant or whatever together again?
