Jean Coleman | 58 comments "THE CHRISTMAS VISITOR" is my way of wishing everyone in the group a very Merry Christmas. This new posting on my blog is a true story that happened when we were living in Australia several years ago. I feel it will touch your heart and this is my Christmas gift to all blog readers here on Goodreads. You can read it at www.facebook.com/chapter29 or just click onto my photo on the left and to enjoy it on my author page. Have a blessed Christmas!

Jean Coleman | 58 comments WHAT A CALAMITY! You probably have seen me posting on here about my blog. Well, on Saturday evening I posted a new blog and somehow it appeared two times. So I decided to delete the second posting.....and when I hit the delete button, all 45 postings on my blog disappeared in an instant of time!!! It was like witnessing some sort of nightmare. I wrote to the technical folks at Goodreads and they say the posts are gone forever! However, I have them all on my website, so sometime in the future they will make a miraculous appearance again on Goodreads. But right now we are preparing to leave to preach for three weeks in India on January 8th--our twenty-second trip to India. I feel like it is my second home. So until our return, perhaps you could all just read my book, "Chapter 29 Revisited" and then in February my blog will be up and running again. The moral of this story is that you never know what the delete button will delete! What happened reminds me of how Jesus deleted our sins at the cross, however they will NEVER appear again. Chapter 29 Revisited by Jean Coleman

message 174: by Wes (new)

Wes Walters | 2 comments www.absentfromflesh.wordpress.com

Wes Walters is a Christian, husband, father of 2, pastor, preacher, writer, songwriter, poet, and lyricist originally from Alabama living and ministering in Buffalo, NY with Restoration Church.

The purpose of this blog is to hopefully build up the body of Christ. Taken from various writings new and old from articles and sermons current and past.

Starting a blog after realizing I’ve got quite a bit of writing stored up over the years in my computer and after publishing a few articles and writing curriculum for our church I figured I’d start sharing here as well.

The name Absent from flesh comes form an old Isaac Watts hymn of the same name. I, as many, long for the day when we will be with Christ in glory. Here are the lyrics:

Absent from flesh! O blissful thought!
What unknown joys this moment brings!
Freed from the mischiefs sin has brought,
From pains, and fears, and all their springs.

Absent from flesh! illustrious day!
Surprising scene! triumphant stroke
That rends the prison of my clay;
And I can feel my fetters broke.

Absent from flesh! then rise, my soul,
Where feet nor wings could never climb,
Beyond the heavens, where planets roll,
Measuring the cares and joys of time.

I go where God and glory shine,
His presence makes eternal day:
My all that’s mortal I resign,
For angels wait and point my way.

The Psalms and Hymns of Isaac Watts, 1806

message 182: by Mickey (new)

Mickey Mullen (mrmullenvcncom) | 632 comments 193 Trevor: Redemption of sin is hard to find it reads (few will find the way) Salvation is physical can you say that. You should get a King James Bible of 1611 and read Ezekiel 36;26-25-27 It happened to me physically and Ezekiel never got in sequence, because it never happened to him. message 192

Jean Coleman | 58 comments My blog is spiritual and inspirational and uses true life stories to reveal a life-changing truth. The latest posting is called THE WOUND THAT WOULDN'T HEAL. You can read it on Goodreads by clicking on my little photo on the left or by paying a visit to my public website at www.facebook.com/chapter29

message 184: by Mickey (new)

Mickey Mullen (mrmullenvcncom) | 632 comments With thousands of preachers, preaching spiritual and inspirational it is almost impossible to get the truth out. When you say salvation is physical and matter just like the earth that God created. People would rather stay with what Paul said, spiritual and inspirational or just believe, live a good life, be generous, be baptized in water to receive the Holy Ghost as Peter said, or family that is on the Christian Radio from sunup to sundown. I'm sorry Jean but Paul and Peter are both false prophets you should read Ezekiel 36:26-25-27 it happened to me I don't have the same heart that I was born with it is 31 years younger than my body.

D.M. Dutcher | 12 comments I review Christian speculative fiction at http://www.swordcrossrocket.com. I cover horror, fantasy, science fiction, and end-times books. I also have a fairly large indie-book focus due to them making up a large part of the spec fic genre today.

I try to be honest (no rubber-stamp five star reviews here) and I try to cover more than the standard Christian Book Association stuff. I'm always looking for new books to read or suggestions, and I'd appreciate it if you'd stop on by.

message 193: by Mickey (new)

Mickey Mullen (mrmullenvcncom) | 632 comments What if salvation never had anything to do with St John 3:16? What if the sinner's prayer never worked? What if The Acts 2:38 is a farce? What if Paul was a false prophet the Devils advocate? I can say these things because I found out the explanation of St John 3:3-5 which are perables, is found in Ezekiel 36:26-25-27. When I was 31 years old I was saved talking on a pay phone on the wall of a gasoline service station and received the Spirit 30 days later, it was a blub (like a dove) that came through a windshield of a 1959 Ford Thunderbird. St Matthew 3:16 It never lighting on Jesus but it went in His mouth and down His throat.
