Stephen Tuck (sdtuc2) | 2 comments Can I share this here? I've been asking myself if the story of Noah in Genesis gives believers licence to withdraw from the world for a time if it appears to be comprehensively going down the tubes. What do you think?

Are you searching for more from their faith than button-down Christianity that doesn’t satisfy or quicken? If you find living the Christian life to be wearisome, burdensome, full of judgment, failure, and despair, then you know something is missing. Jesus said his yoke was easy and his burden was light. So should our’s be. To have complete joy in Christ means taking the road less traveled, often alone and against the status quo. The road that leads to Total Truth. The road that leads us to know just who we are in Christ. The road that reveals to us that we live, but it is not us. It is Christ living. In us. As us. No need to try to be like Christ. Just let him live his life out through us.

I just visited your blog and copied the quote below from your latest blog.

"I found if I am to be my best then I have to write. This is who I am. I am my best when I know I have given my time to create. - "See more at: http://sandcastlesandsnowforts.blogsp...

I'm in a similar situation. Waiting for my first book to be published and then I started blogging. Writing brings me closer to God and requires me to seek him because without him I have nothing to write about; and there definitely are those days for me. God bless you and your family!

Patricia Kirk | 154 comments Make Me Laugh for a $25.00 eGift Card, ladies and gentlemen.

Zacchaeus has a quirk (other than being short). He tells the same joke at every gathering. Jesus laughs, so rules apply--though most people laugh at Zaccaeus' infectious laugh. Problem is I don't know the joke.

your mission, should you choose to accept it: tell me the joke.

Go to $25.00 eGift Card for Contest rules.

Can't wait to see your joke. Odds are great right now though I hope to get you some competition.

My blog is called The Christian Life in the Danger Zone. The general theme is that as Abraham walks from Haran to Canaan, with each step God is displacing Abraham's worldly conventional plans with something higher and grander than Abraham can imagine. This theme, once we see it, permeates every journey of faith in the Bible. Daily posts. Comments welcome. Thanks.
