I dunno, I kinda like the one from Boston.

message 4: by [deleted user] (new)

I just didn't see that picture, that's all. Sad that I lived in Boston but never went there. I was doing too much partying and not enough reading. Bad priorities!

message 5: by [deleted user] (new)

We are true book addicts if we would like to live in a library!

It would be a dream home.

message 11: by [deleted user] (new)

My order of preference of where I would live:

1) Big library (MIT would be nice)
2) Borders
3) Dick's Sporting Goods

message 17: by [deleted user] (new)

I guess I make assumptions. Plus I've been reading House of Leaves.

message 18: by [deleted user] (new)

I never got around to House of Leaves. I really want to read it but the size is intimidating since I am trying to balance a few at a time. Maybe during winter break I will. What did u think?

message 20: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm still reading it. I think it's good in many ways, but as a novel it is not going to make it among my favorites. I certainly won't regret reading it. The funny thing about the size is that there are a bunch of pages that are nearly blank and there is an index and appendices. So it takes awhile to read the full pages, but then you fly through 75 or so in no time.

message 21: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm still reading house of leaves too. I read too many books at once. I am just nuts.

Yeah I couldn't take the pressure had to change the Avi.

Uh...Jeremy?? You have like 400 some odd pages to read tonight...Are you INSANE??? Are you putting life on hold???

message 26: by Desiree (new)

Desiree | 19 comments i started house of leaves too, but because of its size and complex set up with all the appendices and such i too have chosen to finish up school first and i will have to try and tackle it this winter :) i'm with you on that!

message 27: by Donna, The Pusher (new)

Donna (dfiggz) | 3119 comments Mod
Hehe. Maybe we shoul dput that on our winter read!!!

message 28: by [deleted user] (new)

Well, the last 150 or so are appendices that I've either already read or they are part of the index. That cuts it down to 230 of which well over 1/2 are large fonts and large margins. And there is more of the younger narrator which is much faster reading. This is what gives me such great confidence!
