The doctor did a quick examination of his injuries and let them go reminding him to take it easy for a while.
he put up an argument but eventually saw reason
she helped him get up and put his arm around her shoulder to keep him steady.
"you'll be alright soon enough"she reassured him as they got to the road,"Taxi!"she called.
She looked at him,"be optimistic"she said as she got him into the car.
"how can i i had a suprise for u and now i cant do it"
She looked at him curiously,"what surprise?"
he gulped "i was invited to a PRO SURFING COMP"
She looked at him surprised,"that is awesome b..but you can't now.."she said sadly.
"i know and i had a good chance"
She felt guilty again.She'd just ruined things.
he gulped again "but theres a bigger one just down at the beach near ur house in about 4 months can i go please please please"
She brightened up,"sure David"she said excitedly,"you'd be fine by then"
he pumped his fist "thank you so much"
She laughed happily,"glad to help out"
"if i win the reward is 200 grand thats alot of green"
"that would be awesome David"she said,"more than that it's the very pleasure of winning"she said.
he chuckled softly "but 200 grand and id be on tv u too"
"yeah..that'd be fun"she said smiling.

Soon they were home.She helped him out.
She sat him on the couch and went in to get some food.
she came back with some sandwiches.
e held out his hand and asked for one
She took just one and gave the rest to him.
She smiled at him,he hadn't eaten since long.
She smiled back,"you should sleep"she said.
she bent down and kissed his cheek.
She watched his peaceful face and sighed with relief.
she went upstairs and slipped into her bed.
She woke up the next morning.
she freshened up and walked down.
still asleep he snored softly
She walked up to him and smiled seeing him.she went and made some coffee.
he woke up and went and had a shower
She sat down on the couch with the coffee.
he came down and sat beside her
"here"she handed him the coffee,"wait..do you drink coffee?"she asked.
