Sarah (thesarah) | 86 comments I'm just curious, is everyone reading physical books or on an ereader? If ereader, which one? I've gone back to physical books after noticing a drought on my bookshelf and have order physical copies of everything on my Nook app. :o)

Steph | 13 comments Great question! If the library has it, I read it in paper form. If there is a wait and I really want to read it, I will buy it for my ereader. I have iRiver that runs android, which allows me to read books on Google ebooks. I'm currently frustrated, because I cannot find "When She Woke". Arg! Does anyone else have a problem finding books for the ereader?

On another note, I love the ereader for a few reasons. I can carry multiple books (and it doesn't weigh me down). It's easy to read when I do cardio at the gym. Last, but not least, I'm re-reading the classics. Currently I'm reading Great Expectations. As many of you who had Ms. Guaze for freshman English remember, we read it. Or at the least watched the movie and read Cliff's Notes. Anyway, it's a little different than I remember. I've also read Anna Karenina and a bunch of Jane Austin books. Tried to read Wuthering Heights, but couldn't get through it.

So, Sarah, there is a long answer to your very short question. :)

Only paper for me. I don't have an e-reader. I've been extremely reluctant to get one. I feel the way about books the way people feel about music on vinyl. (And my friend just gave me a record player...soo....)
I have been thinking about getting an e-reader just becasue that's the way the world is going and I refuse to be a cavewoman, but, it breaks my heart a little bit. You can't imagine the joy I feel when I have to yell at my son to get ready for school because all he wants to do is lay on his bed and read his (paper) book (that happened this very morning!). So yeah...currently only real books but maybe soon, e-reader.

Steph, the book is called "Where She Went". (You're asking about the conclusion to "If I Stay", right?).

I do both. I have a nook & have no problem finding e-books for it since it's designed by barnes & noble. I still purchase books to keep my library growing if it's an amazing book & I tend to try books I normally wouldn't on the e-reader cause often they are cheaper than the actual book.

Li, "When She Woke' is this months book selection also

for me its been ereader. pretty much for all the reasons steph mentioned. if i love the book ill buy it. using the kindle. it started with my previous job. i was home 5 days put of the month and loved to read on the road but it would have been so hard to read certain books because of their sheer size along with carrying my laptop and work files and a suitcase. i adore the feel and smell of books but love the convenience of the ereader. it helped so much while i was on bedrest! now it helps when i only have 1 hand to read while nursing my baby. :)
