This book is about a sattelite weapon that is launched in secret from the US. The the world is taken over by a new world order of an ancient ruling class. The makers of the sattelite wait until the ruling class comes out of the shadows to destroy them. It also involves an assassin who breaks from his masters and saves the life of his target and later becomes a leader in the rebellion.
