Lauren (laurenjberman) The only one I can think of is Vhyper in the Feral Warriors series by Pamela Palmer. He is a secondary character and doesn't have his own book yet.

Dee (austhokie) its m/m, but Snakeskin Boots features a were-boa

Cool. Do you know what book he appears in?

Circus of the Damned has a lamia in it. And there is one other Anita Blake book (another of the early ones--you know, back when there was a STORY instead of a lot of sex) that has a Naga in it. But they aren't really the main characters in either book.

I hadn't really thought about Nagas when thinking of snake shifters, but if Nagas will do, you might like Nicole Peeler's Jane True series. It starts with Tempest Rising and has Nagas as some of the main characters.

namericanwordcat | 231 comments I have this book on the top of my TBR. The only bad thing about using Lendle and library lends is that they control the order of my TBR pile.

Missyb | 493 comments One of the Anita Blake books, the bad guy (Chimera) is a Snake (& a few other things). Can't remember which book though.

If you like humour, then Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch has a demon who is also a snake when he's not in a human body. . . I have to admit to being slightly prejudice about this book, simply because I read it whenever I'm in a lot of pain because the humour is so great that it helps to take my mind off the pain. I think I've read the book about 50 or so times, and I still enjoy it. Despite having large chunks of it memorized, it's still a great read. :o)

Nicola White | 23 comments How did I not know there were snake shifter books? Thanks for starting this thread!

BAck on the humour front, Piers Anthony had Nagas in one of his Xanthe books, but I don't remember which one, and frankly, I'm about asleep at my keyboard. So I'm going to suggest that you check out that too.

And, I can't believe that I forgot to mention this, but Gunmetal Magic, which is a book "Set in the World Of Kate Daniels" has snake people in it, but they aren't shifters per se. One of the other books in the Kate Daniels series has a crocodile shifter in it, if you are interested in that.

Joseph (bluemanticore) | 216 comments You might like Kai Meyer's Arcadia trilogy. The first book is Arcadia Awakens and it features snake-shifters.

Danielle Book Boss (daniellebookboss) Bacchus (Phantom Warriors, #1) by Jordan Summers

I also can't vouch for the quality.
