Indie Book Club discussion

Speaking of KDP it looks like Amazon forgot to throw the 'free' switch today. I went through some in my email of free books from Indie Books List and my own today and everything is full price eight hours in =(

I love Amazon. I've been using KDP Select and have had great success with it so far (you know, all things considered). Certainly much better success than I had anticipated for being an unknown author with a self-published fiction novel. Too bad B&N doesn't have author incentives and promo tools like Amazon does.

Really, Amazon has some awesome author tools. From KDP to ACX to Author Central... just a lot of things that have made me feel more like a "real author". It's helped give me the encouragement I needed to continue writing, and the confidence to believe that I could truly be successful as a writer someday if I just keep at it, use the tools, and keep writing.
