Nah... I'm the same way. OOH I JUST REMEMBERED THAT I TOTALLY HAVE FAHRENHEIT 451 I AM GOING TO READ THAT TODAY.

message 106: by [deleted user] (new)

You want beauty, you should read Game of Thrones. I never cry in books, but in this one I have cried multiple times because of it's sheer beauty. And I'm on page 98

Robin wrote: "I've only cried during one book. It was summer before 3rd grade and I read "Bridge to Terabithia" and cried my eyes out when the girl died."

I've only ever cried in 2 movies and 2 books. The books: Lisey's Story by Stephen King and Game of Thrones by George RR Martin.

The movies: Into the Wild
Edward Scissorhands

message 108: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments I don't think I've ever cried during a movie...

message 109: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments Me neither, Frances.

message 110: by [deleted user] (new)

Watch Into The Wild then!!!!

message 111: by [deleted user] (new)

I hate Edward Scissorhands. I saw it when I was 3 and have been disturbed by the end ever since

message 112: by Robin (new)

Robin | 5442 comments My friend say Edward Scissorhands and said it was quite odd.

I always cry during the wrong movies. Like, the movies that are supposed to make me cry never make me cry. And then I'll cry during an action/suspense move or whatever and feel really weird for crying over that instead of a movie like The Help or Stepmom that was supposed to make me cry.

message 114: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
Not that the action/suspense movies weren't supposed to make me cry, because that was definitely the intent. *grumbles about brilliant directors giving me actual human emotions*

message 115: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments I saw that too... I saw it when I was eight, it is kinda strange.

message 116: by Jocelyn (new)

Jocelyn (joc113) | 2640 comments I don't think I've ever cried during a movie. I've felt like it during a book, but I don't know if I actually have.

I thought Edward Scissorhands was a good movie. I agree with "disturbed by the ending," though. Especially when you think about it, and how it can apply to real life, and people...

It's like watching a headache. That doesn't make sense, but it's true.

message 137: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments I like to watch the auditions on mute... Because their expressions are funny, and the singing is awful!

message 138: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
Haha, but you have to turn off the mute when the judges are criticizing them. And then after you hear the judges, you wonder, "How bad was their singing?" Overcome by curiosity, you have no choice but to hear them sing! D:<

message 139: by Fran (new)

Fran (franswims) | 3422 comments I know... But I always stop watching the show after the auditions, then it's no fun because they draggggg it out soooo long. I like the sing-off.

In New Zealand, as soon as the American X Factor finished we got Australian X Factor and American Idol at the same time. I just watch X Factor.
