Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19206 comments Is that a zombie dinosaur book? As I have people I may need to buy that for if so.

(Although it did take me a while to work out why it was called Zed. Rex. You know it's a long day when you go "OHHH! ZEE!" /sigh)

I read that as Zed Rex as well and could only think of Fed Ex! Couldn't figure out the connection.

Kimberly, I would love to hear your thoughts on The House of Velvet and Glass. I wasn't thrilled with The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane because the main character was too dumb considering she was a PHD student. So here we go again and I wonder if this one also has a dumb professor who cannot see the obvious in front of them. I have heard that Howe gets the historical aspects across correctly.

Snoozie Suzie (snooziesuzie) | 937 comments I returned This Way for the Gas, Ladies and Gentlemen and The Man In The Picture and borrowed The Body in the Thames and The Westminster Poisoner which my mum read recently and enjoyed. I don't think I have read any Susanna Gregory before so I'm looking forward to getting to them but I have two others above them in the pile.

Melissa | 1 comments I just finished two wonderful children's books that I greatly encourage adults to read. "Where the Mountain Meets the Moon" and "Starry River of the Sky" both by Grace Lin. These books are life changing.
