Shannon (sianin) | 453 comments Our in person book club tends to read older books so that we can get enough through inter-library loan. I just went to pick up our current read and am really excited... The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks Its a rare read for us as we don't read non-fiction very often but I think this one will be good and will generate the discussion that we love!

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) Kimberly wrote: "Nice ones Autumn and Amber, you guys are making jealous! I haven't been to the library in 10 days...might have to go the day after tomorrow."

I haven't been to the library in a long long time either. The last time I went they were having a book sale and I bought books instead of borrowing. I have so many books here at home and on my kindle I would never get anything read lol : )

message 75: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly | 2033 comments I love the libray but I have so many NetGalley books and other books to review plus my free kindle ebooks to read so I hope I can squeeze in the library books enough this year.

message 76: by Autumn (new)

Autumn (paperrdolls) | 122 comments I'm like Amber.. I read library books way before the ones I know.. I'm trying to sneak in books I've won from goodreads 2 down 6 to go then I have 3 bookcases and a kindle full of tbr.. I think if my library had color card system id have a black library card.. ( like the black amex)..

I love to go to the library...I can spend hours and hours there. I hope I can find some of my TBR books there as a lot of them I don't own and would rather borrow instead of buying (when the time comes)...I am trying really hard to stash bust and refrain from buying anymore books until I clear out some of my shelves lol but the free kindle books are really hard to turn down : ) In fact, one of my personal goals that will also help on my 2012 goal is to read at least 30 books off of my "I own" shelf. We will see if I make it.

message 78: by Kimberly (new)

Kimberly | 2033 comments Good Luck! I hope to read at least 30 I own too.

Robin (Saturndoo) (robinsaturndoo) Kimberly wrote: "Good Luck! I hope to read at least 30 I own too."

LOL too cute Autumn : ) TY. I am hoping to read the 30 and it shouldn't be to hard as most of the books I own are authors that I like. My problem is I search books and find more and more that I want to read and get sidetracked which isn't really hard to do with my lil pea brain LOLOLOL

Wow! Autumn, you are quite lucky in winning so many books from goodreads. I have only ever won 2 and nothing for the past two years! That must be why I read so much from the library..lol
