and I grabbed these from the "Best Bets" shelf which are one week loans:

I read that one a couple weeks ago, I hope you like it more than I did!

The book makes for a good relaxed reading. I didn't like it as much as I loved other books by Nicholas Sparks. Hope you find it someday when you are in the mood for it.
My review - http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Sure thing Chrissie!

I've got to read that one one of these days.

I'm a big fan of Me & Emma. I hope you like it.

I hope so too, I'm reading it for a buddy read with Robin and another girl in another group and they don't seem to be big fans of it.

Well, it's hard to say that I really liked it. I listened to it on audiotape and almost turned it off after the first few chapters. But I'm nearing the end now and can't stop - kind of like a train wreck.

Nope...[book:Me & Emma|80534]

It's not catching me either Robin, infact it's giving me a headache to read it lol.

Uh oh, will wait for your review before deciding whether it needs to leave my huge TBR.

That is strange that all 3 of us in this buddy read has had serious problems staying focused and reading this book lol At least now we know : )

Uh oh, thanks Robin. I will steer clear of it.

This is a post I made in another group:
Hi. My name is jaxnsmom, and I am an addict.
I read/listen just about anywhere. I walk out of a library chastising myself, because there's no way I can read those 10 books and listen to the 10 audiobooks in two weeks, and I KNOW this, so why do I keep doing it??? And I've still got 15 books on my mp3 player, oops, make that 21, I downloaded 6 more today, and those 51 books on the dining room table that I bought last year and swear I'm going to read this year...pressure...not at all. HaHa! And I'm returning audios to another library tomorrow, and I'm almost afraid to think of what might happen...

Hi jaxnsmom! Welcome to our group and to our shared addiction. :)

I hope I like it, I really enjoy his No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency series. I'm trying to hold off reading this until the toppler but I doubt I will.

Ooh, great haul. Portuguese.. looks interesting.

I liked The Goddess Test - it's an interesting storyline for sure. But the second book? Argh I wanted to slap that girl upside the head. Repeatedly.

Did you see the movie after reading it? I am contemplating watching after reading.

but I also grabbed these ones from the shelf....

Shifting and The Heretic's wife look good. :)
I see you are following up with the Portuguese series.

I've put it on my list Judy :)

With too many books on my TBR, it's difficult to come across one that isn't. :P

Great haul there Kimberly. I have [book:The Forever Queen|7717338] as an ebook.
