Paranormal Romance & Urban Fantasy discussion

First off let me say that I do love my paranormal romances but they seem to be so similar with the big alpha paranormal being and I was wondering if I could get some recommendations where the Woman is the supernatual being and the male is human or another type of supernatural being.

Oh, it's so funny- but the main character does have an almost ADD thing going on- I identified with it and loved the humor

In the Immortals After Dark series the hero and heroine are often different supernatural beings, and therefore at odds with each other. Here are some examples:

If you like shifters and humor (often LOL funny), you might like Shelly Laurenston's Pack and Pride series. In and , the heroines are human and the heroes are shifters (a wolf and a tiger). The women are definitely kick ass.

Very good books! I loved them and they are funny.

Shelly Laurenston also writes as G.A.Aiken and has a series with dragons that is also very good and funny.
Starts with Dragon Actually
and there are three more that follow but they should be read in order but I felt it was worth it.
