Kat Hmm... I am still dying to know what the heck that gas was in the Scorch when Teresa and Aris stuffed Thomas into that nook.

Also, they didn't do a good job explaining the "variables" and their purpose.

yojharobed || I have no sword. I don't need a sword. Because I am the Doctor and this is my spoon. En garde! Yeah, I have some questions too, but overall I enjoyed the series pretty well.

AJ I don't think the gas was anything. I think Teresa was forced into doing the whole 'we're going to kill you' bit. It was a fake so that they could read Thomas' reaction, and that's what Teresa was hinting at.

أثير The real unanswered question is:
How can they use the blueprints to find a cure?, There is no scientific explanation to it.

Cookie i love the book..... but i want to know why in pretty much the whole series thomas and teresa were together then she just dies and thomas goes with brenda ???

message 6: by Dylan (new)

Dylan N i really want to read this book but after hearing some of the reviews i wondered but questions left un answered, whats up with that? is it really as bad as it says? does he get his memory back? whats happening?!

Yeah, I didn't like the fact that their relationship was so important to Thomas and then all of a sudden he falls for Brenda....I kept thinking Brenda was going to turn on him and then he'd be back with Teresa again...Thomas was a softie with the ladies...: )

Cookie yeah i was thinking that too !
but the only parts of the whole book i didn't like was teresa dying and newt getting shot other then that the book was amazing <3

Colby The reason for the unanswered questions lies here: The Kill Order (Maze Runner, #0.5) by James Dashner
I'm sort of annoyed by this.

Scarlett I think the gas was only to make him fall asleep. That's all. To make him think it was poisonous. Isn't that the trick? To make Thomas think he was going to be betrayed and killed by Teresa? So yeah. It was just sleeping gas I think.

I'M PRETTY CONFUSED STILL, SO I AM WAITING FOR THE PREQUEL TO COME<3

Boyd Masters My ? is what happens to the whole world when ever thomas and brenda and everyone else goes to that place at the very end and there supposed to repopulate the world.

I DONT UNDERSTAND

Kidhawk I didnt get what happened to Gally and the Right Arm after they destroyed the facility. Also did not get what happened to Aris, he was one of my favorite characters. :(

The immune were sent to a place, maybe still within the earth, but very far from the disease so they can't start another civilization. Because WICKED-as the chancellor said-had failed getting a cure and then their ways are getting more brutal as ever.

The Chancellor knew that if they failed, she only thought of what would be a better way to at least win against the disease. So she planted Brenda and (I forgot his name) that if something happened, they'll know what to do. Bring a lot of immune to evacuate to another world to populate.

Evelyn H. I wanna know how and why the city of Denver changed like overnight. What happened there

Loony So basically Thomas and his crew left the diseased world until it annihilates itself... pretty weird.

And yeah, really confused with the "variables".

Kelly Brigid ♡ I was confused with the whole gas thing in then ending of The Scorch Trials still. All it was, was some drug that made him sleep and take away some of the pain in his head. I kept thinking it would have some purpose in The Death Cure.

Oh, and no, they do not explain your unanswered questions in The Kill Order. If you have any questions regarding The Flare, then this book should answer all your questions.

Yousra For my part, I was really upset when finishing the book because I wanted Thomas to have his memory back ! I wanted to know more about his life before the maze, how he came to invent the maze, how was his relationship with Teresa .... And what happened to the rest of the world ?

This lack of answers is really disappointing and thats why I hated this book, eventhough I loved The Maze Runner.
