Would you rather go to the theatre or to a movie?

message 472: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) a movie

Would you rather Manet or Matisse?

message 473: by Petra X (last edited Jun 03, 2009 09:38PM) (new)

Petra X (petra-x) That's a hard one. I guess I would have to say Matisse because of the wonderful papercuts.

Would you rather have a Monet or a Manet print on a wall?

message 474: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Manet

Would you rather have an impressionist print or a modern one?

message 475: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Tom Wesselman! Liked his tremendously. Had to google both as unfamiliar with either.

Would you rather have Tom Wesselman or Fracis Bacon. Back to you Rich.

message 476: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) If the forecast is for snow or ice I pay attention, otherwise I ignore it.

Would you rather babysit two little toddler-age girlies or two eleven year old girls for a weekend?

message 478: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Two eleven year old girls for a weekend. I taught fifth grade for 15 years. I would feel right at home.

Would you rather babysit two five year old boys or two five year old girls?

message 479: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Stay up late and get up early. But I am practical so I try to go to bed early as I think my best in early a.m.

Would you rather have breakfast in bed or go out to eat?

message 480: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) I don't like breakfast. Just a cup of tea or coffee and not in bed. But then I'd like to go out for elevenses.

message 484: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Egg and spoon race. Easier to balance than to run in sack.

Sandra (sanddune) Peppermint icecream cone

Would you rather ride a ferris wheel or go in the dodge'em cars?

message 487: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) Dodge 'ems. I hate ferris wheels or any 'thrill' type ride, I'm such a baby.

Would you rather play 'rather ...' or 'the person below me'?

message 488: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) I think I like them both the best of all the games. I think I would rather play "rather" because it tells me more about other player. The person below me is less personal I think and is sometimes wide of the mark of whoever answers. It may not be the person I had in mind when posting "The person below me".

Would you rather play "rather" or "the person below me"?

message 489: by Catamorandi (new)

Catamorandi (wwwgoodreadscomprofilerandi) These are my two favorite games as well. You can get to know people better. They are kind of "icebreaker" games. I think I like "the person below me" a little bit better than "rather."

Would you rather play "title game" or "last letter game?"

message 490: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) I don't play either of them hardly at all. Boring.

Would you rather get drunk or stoned?

message 491: by Sandra (last edited Jun 06, 2009 07:25PM) (new)

Sandra (sanddune) (I would rather play last letter game, but like both)

I am sorry I would not like either.

message 493: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Casual bbq.

Would you rather have predinner drink or fancy dessert?

message 494: by Gerry (new)

Gerry Chambers | 44 comments Petra X wrote: "I don't play either of them hardly at all. Boring.

I couldn't pass this comment up, sorry for the late reply, but either option would br totally acceptable. it definitely has been a while.

message 495: by Sandra (last edited Jun 09, 2009 08:20PM) (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Gerry, do you have a would you rather?

Would you rather know your neighbors or remain private?

message 496: by Gerry (new)

Gerry Chambers | 44 comments Sandra wrote: " Gerry, do you have a would you rather?

My choice would be to know my neighbors. Private is okay but can get lonely. how about you??

message 497: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) I like my neighbors. They are friendly but not intrusive. I like all of them. We live on a corner and that helps I think.

Would you rather live in a small town or in a city?

message 498: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Just a few close friends. Would rather know them in depth, and limit to those I really care about and like to spend time with.

Would you rather allow extra time for things or enjoy that adrenalin rush that comes from time pressure?

message 499: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) can't call it. Depends on what music. Orchestral mostly but lighter choices sometimes. I don't really think they would be as light as pop music.

Long talks or brief chats?

message 500: by Sandra (new)

Sandra (sanddune) Stravinsky. Much preferred.

Barbara Guest or O'Hara?
