Tessa (tessamc) | 171 comments I didn't see where to post questions about finding a book or series when you only know vague details. I was surfing shelves a few days ago and some information caught my eye about a series. I should have stopped and written it down to check it out later but . . . yada, yada. What I remember now is that the heroine(?) was bothered by hearing too many thoughts including a dog that thinks "I gotta go walkies". The dog was what made me want to check it out. Anybody got a clue?

Sandra | 25908 comments It's not ringing a bell Terri.

You could also try the group What's the Name of That Book

Judithe | 6566 comments Hmmm...I don't know about the hearing thoughts part, but the "I gotta go walkies" comment sounds like something Jim the demon-in-dog-form would say in the Aisling Grey series. Looking at the blub, there's a good chance this is the one you're looking for.

Barbara ★ That's my guess too Judithe and what a funny series it is.

Sandra | 25908 comments Of course, why didn't I think of Jim? *slaps upside the head*

Judithe | 6566 comments I just read one in the spin-off series, and loved Jim's appearances. He's so obnoxious he's cute, but I really wouldn't want to meet him (maybe I should change all those to "it"...)

That's it!! Thank you!!!

Tessa (tessamc) | 171 comments You guys can delete this thread if you need to. I didn't find the other thread, but I didn't look very long either. Thanks again!

message 10: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments Actually, it's a good idea to have a thread like this around so no worries about that! We can just leave it up to Steph's OCDemoness to decide when she gets around to house SOS-cleaning!

Tessa (tessamc) | 171 comments That would never hurt my feelings, I think her tendencies make the site much more user friendly and less cluttered! I'm not too great at the formating yet, but getting into the challenges has taught me a few things!

message 12: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments That they do! And I picked up a lot of that with challenges, too! See, they're not only fun, but educational as well! Join one today to expand your horizons! LOL!

Sandra | 25908 comments Yep, challenges, that's how I learned what html was. LOL

Tessa (tessamc) | 171 comments I haven't tried the html yet, but I will. The only thing that frustrates me is not seeing my own posts in with friends comments on my Home page. I guess it's a holdover from FB but it's odd to me. Or maybe someone can tell me how to change my settings so I can see them? I learn something new almost every day by getting on and just exploring.

Judithe | 6566 comments Hmmm....don't know the answer to that.

D.G. | 2752 comments Which comments do you want to see in your feed, Terri? When you comment on a topic, you mean?

If you go to 'Edit Profile' and you select 'Feed' and then click on 'Comment on a book or group discussion board', all the posts that you make on books or groups will show up on your feed. But then all your friends will see them too.

message 18: by Tessa (new)

Tessa (tessamc) | 171 comments Yes, all my friends comments show, even to other people, but I don't see MY half of the conversation. Thank you DG--I should have asked sooner! I will try that!

Steph (angel4492) | 32703 comments Yay! Glad you found it, Terri, with a little help from your friends. :) I like this thread, so it shall remain. So it shall be. LOL!

I'm sure it'll come in handy in the future.
