This is a series but it's not listed as one. The books are in this order:

1. A Horse for the Summer
2. The Runaway Pony
3. Strangers at the Stables
4. The Midnight Horse
5. Horse in Danger
6. The Perfect Pony
7. Ride by Moonlight
8. Racing Vacation

I'm sure about the first 3 but the other ones I went by the publication date.

I think it's Sandy Lane Stables. A lot of the titles include the name of the series already. Can we use the publication date to determine the order of the books?

I've tried finding the order to confirm it but I haven't been able to yet, but I'll keep looking.

WorldCat confirms Susannah Leigh.

Looking at susannah leigh, it looks like she has two of the books credited to her (this is confirmed by WorldCat as well)....looks like the plot is thickening!

WorldCat states Ride by Moonlight (Michelle Bates) as #6 c1997 & Horse in Danger #7 c1998, also Perfect Pony c1998 with no number given.

Racing Vacation is #9 according to WorldCat.

I'm guessing they're both pennames for the same person.

I have occasionally found errors at Fantastic Fiction, but it helps sort things more often.
