Urgently needed, an UNDO feature for combining

First of all, I'm both a Goodreads librarian and an author and professional translator. This is relevant because it allows me to see how often errors get repeated. And repeated. And repeated.
I'm George R.R. Martin's Ice and Fire translator for Portuguese. The books I've translated were published both in Portugal, where each original volume is split in two, and in Brazil, where they are published as in the original, with the same titles used in the first halves published in Portugal. Confusing, yeah, but not something a bit of previous information couldn't clear up.
And yet, these half books and full books keep being combined with one another. Over and over and over again.
And, since the work of putting it all as it should be is, in that very popular series, VERY LENGTHY, boring and hard since not all split editions are properly identified, it drives me nuts.
We need an undo feature. Desperately. When a silly/bad librarian combines the books without first checking Goodreads policy on the matter, we need to be able to undo it with one click instead of having to waste half an hour splitting and then recombining the whole shebang one by one.
Please!
