Okay, I am LOSING MY MIND. There is a fairly recent book that was hailed in one review as the new Harry Potter. I could have sworn it was called "Ladders" but I cannot find it anywhere on Amazon or bn.com. The cover was blue with a boy (and maybe another figure?) and with something like a labyrinth of ladders at the bottom. I think it was supposed to be about time travel. WHAT IS IT???? Thanks!!!

Could you be thinking of Tunnels by Roderick Gordon? Yes, I know, the cover isn't blue, but somehow it's what jumped to mind...
