Derek (derek_broughton) | 29 comments I was editing books for William Deverell/William Francis Deverell and came across Mecca, which seemed to be lacking much detail. When I edit it, I see "Publisher-sourced books cannot be updated from amazon". I understand the "Why" ['When we get the data directly from the Publishers it does not have any specific contractual limitations and allows us to give you better features and fun!'], and this would be great if the publisher had actually given us much information - but in this case, there's no cover, no description and not even a proper publication date (at least I'm betting it wasn't really published on a January 1).

Is there some way to request that books like this NOT be "publisher sourced"? I went to my library site to see if it had any more information, and clearly their data came from the same source.
