Hi! I haven't yet, I find it quite difficult to find Scandiwegian authors who aren't crime writers and this seemed like a good place to start!

Have you read any other Douglas Adams books (author of Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency)? He's one of my favouite authors I hope you like the book!

I'm going to read The Plague for Algeria too - I've had this book for several years and never even attempted to read it!

Its a good book :) I read it about 8 years ago and enjoyed it.

This is another one begging for a group read...

I've managed to do three so far (decided to add Rich Fulcher's book for USA, not the most high brow book in the world but a) he is American and b) it made me laugh on the train)!

If I feel lazy later on, I'll let myself say I've read a UK book because, technically, I have... just not the one I chose in the first place :p
