Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) So far it's very good, and it's a smaller book, so it's going pretty fast. I could easily picture it like in the movies :)

❄️ Propertea Of Frostea ❄️ Bitter SnoBerry ❄ (berrynumey) The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Hey Danna, I see you want to read this book. It's good, well it's great for 'spiritual', 'dreamers', and 'fantasisers'. :)

I guess I could be spiritual and so, and I have started this book when I was at my aunt's house and I've read about 20 pages but had to leave it behind when we returned home, because I was in the middle of another book. I hope I'd get to finish it :)

Lilac (lilac_wales) | 424 comments Renee, do you prefer The Scorpio Races or The Wolves of Mercy Falls? I thought Shiver and Linger were better than the Scorpio Races but Forever was about the same as it :)

I have finished Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets a few days ago, and Someone Knows My Name yesterday+review. Today I finished and started) The Deer Wedding, well not finished but about 80% complete, but I threw it away because it was the most horrible book I have read in months! I have One Day beside me, but mixed reviews make me hesitate about reading it. I found the last two mentioned books in a public showers in Europe and could not believe my good luck! So... One was a huge disappointment, I hope ONE DAY will be better. I have been told that the movie was nice, so I guess this must be nice, too.

Catya (LizBenAt) (lizbenat) I just finished Gregor the Overlander and since I can't get my hands on the second book of the series I'm reading another book I finally found in the bookstore yesterday: Beautiful Creatures. Ever since I first heard about it I wanted to read it but they never had the first book in the stores. Since the movie is due out in april here in Germany I'll have enough time to finish the series before going to the theatre :)

Currently reading Beautiful Creatures (Caster Chronicles, #1) by Kami Garcia

How was it? Some say it was horrible, and others (very few, though) claim it was nice. What do you think?

message 135: by Beth (new)

Beth | 408 comments Just finished reading through the Harry Potter Series for the first time! Awesome books, and I'm kicking myself for not reading them sooner. I started at the beginning of September and just finished yesterday. Today, I've started reading the Harry Dresden books and plan to read them all the way through as well.
It's a little weird to be reading the two best known wizarding-related series with protagonists named "Harry" back-to-back. I wonder if there's ever been a Harry Potter/Dresden reading challenge?
