Welcome to the group

I came across this group as I was looking for one about Female Crime Thriller authors. My favourite authors in this genre are Martina Cole, Kimberley Chambers and I am to be reading Dreda Say Mitchell & Roberta Kray over the next few weeks.Looking forward to talking to you all.
If anyone also has any suggestions of any other groups that I could join on here I would appreciate it as I've spent ages trawling them with not much luck in this subject yet.

I joined this group because I have and have read
all the Sue Grafton books, all Patricia Cornwell's Scarpetta books (I just finished Red Mist today), James Patterson's Women's Murder Club books, and all but the last two Martha Grimes' Richard Jury series. I have started Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books, but have only read the first 5 - I have a long way to go in that one to catch up! (I have most of Ellis Peter's Brother Cadfael books, but I've only read about half of them and don't know when I'll get back to them.) Bones is one of my favorite TV series, but I haven't read and don't own any of that series.
Welcome Lanny. You're doing better than I have. I've only read one of the Kay Scarpetta books, even tho I have them all. The Stephanie Plum books are hilarious, but I cry every time she kills a poor defenseless car. I'm not familiar with Martha Grime's work but I'll definitely check her out. Hope you enjoy the book club.

Thrown into my Womens Mysteries, I also enjoyed the first several James Patterson "Alex Cross" and also wandered into Paranomal (Vampires & Werewolves)... tho not too crazy about how the Twilight series took the turn in the last book...
Welcome Cindi! Wow you're farther ahead in your reading. I just started rereading "One for the Money" I like to read the book again before I go to the movie.

I will also finish the first months read this weekend hopefully and I'm enjoying it so far also.
I have just placed an order for next months read at the Library, they did have the book as a stand alone read but in a book called 'Two Cats three tales' which from what I can gather is the first three books in the series with our book as the first.

I thank Pasta for her letter, because I'm going to be a "lurker" until I feel comfortable here.
Feel free to lurk as long as you like :) The rest of the online stuff I'm a member of I'm always a lurker. This is the only thing I'm actually active in.

Hi Aiesha and welcome...I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who likes to read a series from start to finish.

I have read all of "The Cat Who..." series, all of the Kinsey Millhone books by Sue Grafton, and all of the Stephanie Plum books by Janet Evanovich.
I am looking forward to the May read, though! I've been wanting to read Kathy Reichs for a while now. I really LOVE the "Bones" TV show based on the series, so hopefully the books are equally good.
Other series on my TBR pile: James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series & the "In Death" books by J.D. Robb.
Aiesha - I'm also totally OCD about reading a series in order! :-)

Well... I'm going to have to make sure I DON'T miss the May read if it is based off the "Bones" TV show. I haven't seen it but that was one of the series I was interested in reading. Also, I absolutely LOVE the "In Death" Series!! I've read 12 of the books before taking a break but want to start back up here soon! This group will have some awesome reads and I can't wait!

Welcome to Valerie and Aiesha. x

I'm Debbie. I joined this group because I love the Sue Grafton, Patricia Cornwell and Kathy Reichs books.
I like to read, but I'm not fast at it. It takes me a while to read a book. I am reading more though, now that I got my Kindle for Christmas.
