message 1679: by Megan (new)

Megan I am currently reading Shadow of Doubt and Pharmacy Exposed: 1,000 Things That Can Go Deadly Wrong At the Drugstore.

I met Nancy Silverman at our local book festival and purchased signed copies of three books in the series. Shadow of Doubt is very good. Almost finished with it. I would recommend to everyone!!

I currently work in a pharmacy and co-worker from a few years back recommended Pharmacy Exposed. It's a pretty good book. Definitely lets the reader know about important pharmacy mistakes and everything that could go wrong in the pharmacy world. Definitely interesting.

Let me know what everyone's favorite books are. Give me some more can't-put-it-down books that I should add to me to-read list.

message 1681: by Ashley (new)

Ashley (ashleyreads88) I am currently reading Homer's The Illiad and the Odyssey.

message 1682: by Tyler (new)

Tyler (teaakayyy) | 3 comments I'm currently reading 1984

I definitely will be reviewing this one. I read this one after Brave New World by Aldous Huxley and all I can do is compare it to that book. Main character who revolts against a very strict society. Winston is a very dull character, but I believe he is mundane to enhance the world around him. Orwell is extremely descriptive and I love that about him, but I was not too impressed as many others were when they read this book.

The second book in the series and it is shaping up to be as good as the first. Will write a proper review when I done. Then on to Book 3 - How To Kill a Pedophile. I think Eve has issues. :-)
