Tyler, I liked 1984 a lot, but I agree that sometimes it can be a bit of a slog. Animal Farm's better in just about every way, I think.I'm re-reading Thucydides' History of the Peloponnesian War.

. It was an insightful book about Barack Obama's early days entering the political arena. Here's my review if anyone is interested.
I'm reading this bad boy right here. :) I've only started on it since I'm in the middle of writing at the moment, but I already like it a lot.
I finished State of Flux (an indie book) and have moved onto The Further Adventures of Ebenezer Scrooge which seems good!

I'm reading The Twilight Wife. I would not have picked it, but I won it at my mystery writers group on Saturday and I am happy to say, it is a very good read.

I do not know either :D I just can't help it when I want to read a book I just have to pick it up and read it regardless of how many I am already reading does that makes sense?
Anyways I am enjoying them all so far and Maggie's writing is like honey for my eyes (not sure if this is a good comparison) :)

just finished The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying from Sogyal Rinpochethanks to one of the groups here on Goodreads that was trzing to explore its wisdom. A great book. A classic!. Rated it 5 stars.

Franny & Zooey by Salinger.I've read this book many years ago, but this time I decided to read it in English. I now realize that the translation wasn't even that good.

Just finished Happy by Derren Brown. Definitely one of the better self help books out there, I think.
Recently reread it - remembered a different ending. Watching Elizabeth Moss on Hulu. Great.
The Most Beautiful: My Life with Prince.I'm not finished yet. But all I can say is how sad that she was able to weave a love story out of that. A well-written book though.
Just finished Altered Lives by Rick Travis. Great book that I got from the Early Reviewers program at LbraryThing. Currently reading City Ash and Desert Bones, also an Early Reviewers entry. Also listening to Broken Grace.
