Busy. Tyler graduates May 25. People are coming to stay at our house so they can celebrate with us. I'm a haphazard housekeeper. Need to step up my game, and there'll be lots of cooking and entertaining. Should keep me out of trouble for the entire month.

Both of my daughters always help in the kitchen. So does John's brother. We're going to have a great time. Just busy. Good for me. Bumps me away from my computer.
At the moment, I'm not really reading anything. Busy working on another draft of my book. Hopefully I will have it finish by the end of the month. But between needed mental breaks sometimes, I am reading a page here and there of "DeadLocked" by Charlaine Harris.

I'll be around until the 18th, just not as much. Too nosey. Don't want to miss anything. But then I'll be swamped for a while. You guys will probably do something exciting while I'm gone. And way to go, Sylvia! Is this your final draft? Isn't it fun to see how a book shapes up?
This morning I finished The Seventh Sister - Z.L. Arkadie. Now I am going back to The Man From U.N.D.E.A.D. - The Curious Case Of The Kidnapped Chemist - Darren Humphries and dipping into Stone Rain - Linwood Barclay.
Fiona, are you one of those people who read more than one book at a time? I can't manage that.

Love "tree book." I've never heard that before. But so true. Great!
If I fancy reading 'tree book' for comfort lol, then I get to turn pages instead of pressing a button :-D
Hate to say it, but I love both. Started out swearing I wanted to turn pages. That I loved the feel of a book. And I do. But then my daughter bought me a Kindle, and I was seduced by books under $3.99 by authors I can't find in the book stores. So now, I love both. Not an either/or for me. I love pages AND buttons. Same as you.
I've read more Kindle books than tree books (this will be my 1st of the year lol)

I always feel like such a slow reader when I am on Goodreads. LOL One book at a time, and seems to take forever for me to get thru it. Reading

Our first guest should get here in an hour. Finally have everything ready. My daughter and son-in-law get here on Thursday. All for Ty's high school graduation. His Open House is Saturday. Probably won't see my computer or a book for a week. I'll be going into withdrawal.

Last night I finished Fifty Shades of Grey - E.L. James. It was an intense books. It had me crying, laughing and even cringing at the events of Mr Grey and Ms Steele. Now I am going to read Fifty Shades Darker - E.L. James.

I wasn't terribly impressed. I've started the second in the series, but I'm not sure I'm going to finish the rest of them after Torment.

Just finished reading On Unfaithful Wings (An Icarus Fell novel) by Bruce Blake. About an ordinary guy who's killed and makes a deal to be a harvester of souls. It kept surprising me, but the Afterworld looked sort of undependable. That threw me a little.
