I have considered, and looked into once a few months ago, going back to school to get my degree in English Literature and getting into proofreading or working for an editor/publisher.

I really like my job right now, but I think that would be a lot of fun.

Finishing your book is a good goal!

Lol! I have more resolutions, but that's just something I've been thinking about. Right now I do proofreading and editing anyway, but it's not for books, which would be a lot more fun!

My resolution is to finish my book and get it published. I also want to make my book blog as great as possible!

My resolutions are:

1. Eat healthier and try to eat 3 meals a day and drink water (not coffee)

2. Go for a walk outside (once winter leaves)

3. Read and write my reviews in a timely manner

4. Find a way to stick to my resolutions

I need to add blog more frequently and write my reviews in a timely manner to my list! I can go days without writing a review and that's not good because I start to forget certain parts of the story so I like to review right after I'm finished reading but sometimes that's not the case...

message 13: by saga (new)

saga (iyagi) I'm also going to do this thing with my friends, we call it the I-am-going-to-be-like-Dimitri club. We're gonna get all fit and healthy.

I'm definitely going to make a point to do that this year. When I wait too long to do reviews I loose details as well. Even if I have to sketch some down in a notebook it will end up helping for sure.

Melissa T (melissasmidnightmusings) Some of my resolutions are:
To read for one hour every day.
To walk at least one mile every day.
To lose a bit of weight.
To find a job that I really enjoy.
To blog more often and improve my blog
To write (non blog related) 2-3 times a week.

One thing I'm doing to help remember key points for reviews is to jot them down as I'm reading, I keep a little journal and pen by me.

I am a retired Reviewer for Coffee Time Romance; loved it, but had health issues so had to retire. But still reading and always will.
1. To get things paid off early, after Christmas
2. Get out more with my husband; we are so busy we don't take time for ourselves; but everyone else.
3. Promise to stay closer in touch with family.
4. To ease up; life is short and I am always worrying about this or that, when 99 percent of the time things work out anyway.

Suhky | 1 comments A typical new year resolution from me, but read more fiction books, not just non-fiction, by discovering interesting books on Good Reads.
