Michael Sherer (mysteryauthor) | 3 comments Nice to be part of this group. I'm the author of the six-book Emerson Ward mystery series set in Chicago and a stand-alone thriller set near Seattle. I love reading mysteries and thrillers, and wish that I could write them as fast as I read them. The first mysteries I read were part of the Judy Bolton series, and I think I went from there to Nancy Drew and straight into Agatha Christie and Rex Stout by the time I was in middle school.

I look forward to hearing recommendations from group members on what they like and don't like.

Cheers, and happy reading!

Hi Michael, thanks for joining the group. Another Nancy Drew fan! I wonder how many millions of young people were infected with the mystery bug because of the Nancy Drew stories?
