Poetry Readers Challenge discussion

I am spending the day posting reviews to get a jump start on the year! (Obvs I read these all before 2012 started.) Here's what I've gotten done:

4. Cornucopia: New and Selected Poems by Molly Peacock (my review)

6. Watching the Spring Festival: Poems by Frank Bidart (my review)

Looking forward to finding some new stuff to read through this group. What a wonderful idea this is.

If possible - and I know it's a bother to double-post - it's best to post your reviews here in the group, too, under "Reviews 2012." More people will read them that way, and it's much easier for housekeeping, ie adding the books to the group list and bookshelf.

Well, I failed to review 20 this year, but this is still a lot more reviews than I would have done otherwise! I am going to try for 20 next year, too - and try to do it throughout the year!

It's the thought that counts, so they say. I also failed for this year, but plan to renew my vow for 2013.

Agreed that it's more about keeping poetry in one's reading radar than meeting the goal. Congrats on your 9, Joanne!
