I set my goal for 125 and have reached 107....looks like I will make it, especially if I quit reading those 400+ page history books that I love!!!

So far I've read 17 of 30....I'm determined to meet my goal. The only things is, in the midst of trying to compensate for my inconsistent reading (I've abandoned a few books along the way and/or stoped reading for a few weeks at a time) I've recently tried reading for about an hour daily. Though I've finished two books, as a result, I'm beginning to feel a little burned out like it's become mostly about meeting the goal and not so much about enjoying the books, so I'm going to have to find a balance.

Hey Tee27 - don't be hard on yourself. Enjoy your reading. I promise the reading challenge is not a test - you will not flunk. I have raised my book challenge up and also down - it doesn't matter. Just enjoy yourself.

My goal is 50 books.. And I am at 20 of 50

Currently I'm at 65/60 books and 25192 pages :)

I'm currently at 266 of 300 (89%). I think I should be able to reach my goal by the end of the year if I get through 20 books each in the next two months. Piece of cake, right?

I am at 25 of 50 half way there.. Can't wait till I have my surgery.. It will be reading central here..

I'm at 271 of 300 (90%), but I don't know if I will reach my goal this year, even after lowering it from 365.

Congrats! I've got 16 books to go, so that pretty much means I've only got to read a book every other day this last month to reach goal. Piece of cake, right? :-)

I've read 41 now, where I set myself a challenge of 30, which I'm quite pleased about. Finishing off a few books that I'd previously part-read and some short stories makes the total less than that in reality though.

Yeah I made my goal today!! So my goal is now 65.. I got 30 day from now ..

I have completed my challenge. It was a lot of fun. I read 150 books this year.

I'm reading three right now at the same time. My book club should finish one next week, so....good finish to the year

I'm about to begin the last one to 81. Maybe I could reach 82 hahaha

I would only be able to read 300 books in 1 year if they were all picture-books ;-)

Congrats everyone that has finished. I still have two books to go, but I have several started and should be able to make it. Someday my goal will be higher than 60, but for now - I am happy with what I have.
