Keri (keri_45) | 110 comments Brad Thor's character, Scot Harvath, bleeds red, white and blue for his country. A lot of a/a military style. I would start with the Lions of Lucerne and work my way through the series, as there is some events and character development. I haven't read them all yet and hope to finish them this year. Another unique thing is that Thor is friends with Rollins and Berry and they give each other character shout outs. Like every once in awhile Cotton might help out Sigma or Harvath and vice versa. I think it is pretty cool. What do you think of Thor and what have you read of his?

AH Cotton.. I have read a Brad THor!... and liked it. I knew I had. My mind is a cluttered place. Aleandria.... something like that. Cotton did get to push his ex wife out of an airplane though... I wonder who's fantasy that was?

Now now... she had a parachute and surived.. as I recall... and I found it amusing, in a humourus way. (and I don't actually have an exwife. So, Not my fantasy)

Alice (nationofcrumb) | 297 comments I read The Lions of Lucerne a couple of months ago. Pretty good book and I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.

Would that work for ex-husbands? I have one or two of those and at least one I'm sure would benefit from the experience!

Sounds like Brad Thor is one that needs to go on my 'look at' list.

Anybody got an ex husband and an airplane handy?

I could definitely supply the ex-husband but unfortunately my cousin that had the airplane died a couple of years ago so I can't help you there. I do know the local sheriff's deputy that flies the helicopter but I'm not sure he'd cooperate with the plan.

I'm sorry for the loss of your cousin (and the use of your cousin's airplane.) I think your right about Deputy Da'awg. Law Enforcement types tend to frown over the tossing of people out of airplanes.

I might add that "Tossing" someone out of a Helicopter could get even messier, if you think about it, anyway. I heard a comedian once say, "The definition of a loser is someone who hits the ejection seat button in a helicopter."

Hmmm ... I never thought about that as I've never been in a helicopter when I was actually aware. Medical helicopter once, after a head injury and everyone thought I was conscious of what was happening, talking and responding ... and I have complete amnesia for about a 20-hour time span. Really thought that was unfair ... missed the out on my helicopter ride and missed the Sheriff's helicopter landing to make a drug raid on our next door neighbor as well!
