Okay... she was cursed because heroes would land on her island who she couldn't help but fall in love with, but the hero CAN NOT STAY!!! Percy liked her back, but he needed to go back and save the world...

Yeah and it was still kinda destiny, because fates did it, but if u look at it a bit it could be a curse but the fates are kinda in charge of everything so they make everything happen,

Dude it was fate that they met on that island and fell in love. We're not saying she's coming back, we're just comparing the fact that he only made a move on her but ended up with Annabeth, and the fact that it would be funny if she came back and Annabeth found out XD

Dude the fates made it happen and the fates make life the way it is, they made sure Percy was the guy in the prochecy, they made sure Thalia was a hunter, they made sure Percy and Annabeth got together, they made sure the gods won, they do everything! Plus Percy and Calyspo were in love for a period of time, Percy even admitted she'd always be his biggest what if
