I am a huge fan of Vampire Diaries, and now I'm getting into Secret Circle, which started to me, a little slow, and confusing, as if it was being forced...(acting, action, and subject matter)
But when Jake Armstrong was brought into the show, in my opinion, the show became more interesting.

The acting, or I supposed the conflict between Cassie and Jake, the budding romance, and the addition to Cassie's power, hinting that she may have a little bad in her, not squeaky clean as she appeared, due to her dad's bloodline.

Yep, it became alot more interesting and the season ending was incredible, kept me on the edge of my seat, frustrated for more, wondering, okay what's going to happen to Jake and Cassie now.

Vampire Diaries and Secret Circle are ones I keep meaning to watch, but then I think I need to finish the books first.

Never have watched Vamp Diaries but I've heard it's good.
I started the Sec. circle - and kept up with it for several episodes, but had to give that up or miss a couple shows I like and have a longer standing with.

I think Fringe and Sanctuary interfered. Now i hear Fringe is being canceled ?!?!?!?
and Terra Nova too?!?!? nooooooooo!

Supernatural is my absolute favourite paranormal tv show. It is imo one of the best written shows on tv. Lost Girl and Sanctuary are the two other shows I really like. I'm not much of a fan of the teenage drama supernatural genre, although I must admit that Vampire Diaries is pretty good.

I love supernatural. It's my absolute favorite show. (watching it right now even) :)

I also like Lost Girl. I havent seen sanctuary, whats it about?

Sanctuary is one I'll have to look up. Lost girl is my fave and it's so hard waiting to get my hands on the 2nd season in the US.

So I watched Sanctuary last night. I quite enjoyed it and will definitely continue watching it. :)

I'm a big the vampire diaries fan! I also watch Alcatraz and Grimm :) And a couple of other shows :P

Unless it's available on Netflix I don't watch it. No satellite or cable here and the digital tuner cuts out a lot, so I don't bother watching tv. lol

Loving Grimm :) Fringe and Supernatural are some of my favorites! It's gonna be really sad if they're cancelling Fringe.. especially after stopping House :( we'll see what new shows come to view.. As long as Criminal Minds, CSI and all those crime shows are there, I'm still happy.. yup, I'm just sick like that :P

Carol I am the same way. Check out Hulu if you haven't. They get quite a few "hot" shows in.

Love SANCTUARY also - if you decide to watch - start at the BEGINNING - shows you how they end up where they are NOW -

I stopped watching Sanctuary (view spoiler)[When they killed the daughter of the sanctuary leader. I really hated that, still pissed about it (hide spoiler)]
Up until then it was a nice show.

Most local stations now have their episodes uploaded online a couple of days after it premieres. That's how I watch all my ABC shows because for whatever reason, I don't get ABC...

you can also watch shows on xfinity it is comcast's site, you dont have to pay for it.

Does anyone know if the short-ran "Moonlight" series available on DVD? I tried to catch it as often as possible, but I missed some episodes. I really thought it was great and enjoyed all the vamps in LA, but of course any show I like is going to be cancelled before it can really get going. Sigh!

I really need to get Moonlight on DVD. I loved that show, even if it was cheesy!! It makes me sad they put it on a Friday and never gave it a chance.

I don't do Netflix--we have a great public library with thousands of DVDs. Unfortunately, Moonlight isn't one of them, but perhaps I can suggest a purchase? Hmm... :)

Just saw Dark Shadows the movie...given Johnny Depp & the other cast members, Tim Burton and such, I had expected to love it. Didn't.

I think I would have enjoyed the older TV show more...must find out if Netflix has them. Anyone else seen either the movie or the show?

But I agree with you--the older TV show has to be much better. You can't beat the gothic melodrama/romance and Barnabas Collins as the angst-riddled vampire hero... It was fascinating to watch. There are DVDs with the TV series, so check out Netflix or your public library if they lend DVDs. (That's where I found them.)

I hate when an awesome show gets passed up for a second season....like The Fades from the BBC.Has anyone seen any of the 6 episodes that made up the so called first season? Amazing show! I hope another channel,like Syfy will give it a shot....

I loved The Fades!! I was bummed there was no second season :( Being Human (UK) is really good....I can't believe it's still going.

I'm not up to date on Being Human, but I saw some posters. Looked like none of the original cast is there anymore. Bummer.

Woot! Just saw Jack the Giant Slayer & loved it! One question bugging me: How does the giant species continue, given that no females seem to exist?
