Stuart Edmond | 33 comments Hi Kirsty,

I'll send you an email shortly outlining the book I've got I'd love to have a review done on.

Many thanks,

Stuart

Rebecca Burke | 34 comments Kirsty is a smart and appreciative reader/reviewer, who supports her opinions with details from the story and understands that every book has a "perfect readership" (mine: teen girls!). I'm very happy she agreed to review my YA novel, What If the Hokey Pokey Really Is What It's All About?

Here's the link, in case anyone wants to read her nice review:

Rick Barnett (wraithsword) | 4 comments Apart from reviewing others' authorship, Kirsty, I see that you are available to write commissioned articles. Unless I am misunderstanding your intent, I'll take this opportunity to welcome you to the peculiarly rewarding world of ghostwriting.

Ours is the veiled stepchild of the publishing profession. Rarely acknowledged, our work appears in bookstores, libraries, on magazine racks, news-stands, all about the Internet and throughout the media. Television anchors, comedians and politicians routinely deliver our words, taking full credit for our efforts. This is the cost to the ghostwriter...to surrender ownership to your eloquently turned phrase and popularly adopted expression.

In return for our anonymity, we are compensated; sometimes well compensated. A few of us are regularly commissioned by publishers to swell the 'prolific' output of established authors. Most of us prepare manuals and technical booklets. But whether you ghost love letters and complaint correspondence to government officials or you write the next celebrity tell all book without acknowledgment, you are part of an ancient and distinguished profession. You are a ghostwriter.

Rick
