Cindy, the DVD I included gave my mom a good laugh while she went through chemo. It's kinda odd, but refreshingly funny - let me know how you like it!

I hope you like the books! I have a big question for you.....with a box full of books glaring at you, how are do you ever choose which to read first? Shake up the box, close your eyes and pull one out like a BINGO ball?
Alphabetical by author? Ooooo or maybe you title just to be different?

Hi Laura & Roxy,I think I have enough reading for a while LOL -- I am still quite amazed by this surprise. To think I have so many friends from this group - friends that are only made through our online conversations. It really is quite amazing!
So- I think I am going to dive into my book box next (I am a cover art - back blurb) type reader.. I will see which grabs my attention first :)
Kristen - I was showing a friend of mine my surprise box (bragging about it - LOL) and she had seed that movie and said it was great.. can't wait to watch it.

Cindy, I, too, am sorry that I wasn't around to join in this surprise. I do have you in my thoughts and prayers. COL is a great group from which to gain comfort and strength.

All I can say is you guys are awesome. It is so nice to get something in the mail other than hospital bills :)...I am a reading fool! The power outage gave me lots of quality time for reading -- I was in heaven!

Louise, if you go to "Groups" on the menu bar at the top, and put "chick lit" in the search field, I think you will get several hits.
I finally got the package at the post office today - our PO doesn't have hours that are convenient for the normal working gal.. like me...
But, I AM SO SURPRISED AND COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED ... the box of books is fantastic - it will certainly keep me busy and reading throughout those days that I am home resting.
